Carnival Cruise

Carnival Liberty Review

Hi All!

We recently toured the Carnival Liberty over in Port Canaveral, so we wanted to share our experience with you! We love going on ship inspections with Carnival because we really get a chance to see everything the ship has to offer, and it almost feels like we are actually cruising.... almost. lol

These are the most important things you need to know about the ship! We would also consider ourselves foodies, so we threw in our review of the food in the main dining room as well. SPOILER ALERT: They did NOT have any Melting Chocolate Cake for dessert on our luncheon menu... and I was told they won't be having it any time soon during the tours.... :( SUPER SAD DAY FOR ME! Apparently, the chefs want to provide more variety to the menu for the Travel Agents.. blah blah blah... lol jk jk. But have no fear! They will still be serving it regularly on board for guests! I guess we will have to wait until our Carnival Cruise in December to eat the chocolate deliciousness...

We would love to hear your thoughts on the ship if you have ever sailed on the Liberty as well!

Enjoy!

Why did we book?

This is a special/unusual booking for us. Alyssa works for Big Frog Custom T-Shirts as their Project Manager and is in charge of planning their Annual Corporate Event. This year, she proposed that they go on a cruise to celebrate the business’ 10 year (in 2018) anniversary. So this means we will be quite busy during this trip with all of the meetings and activities going on for Big Frog.

What we are looking forward to?

Spaghetti Carbonara… LOL If are a little lost from our reference, CLICK HERE to find out..

Cozumel. We always have a great time in Cozumel

Not having to take vacation time to cruise! ;)

Why did we book?

Well… If you are just joining us for the first time, you may or may not know that we got married in St. Thomas while cruising on the Norwegian Escape back in January 2017. (We have plenty more information from that trip in our YouTube vlogs). Anyways, we had just gotten back from our trip, not quite as relaxed as we had hoped to be.. and had a scheduled ship inspection on the Carnival Pride. During our presentation, we were shown the port of Amber Cove, and Cullen said, "Lets go there!!” So, the minute we got home, Alyssa started researching Carnival cruises that stopped in Amber Cove, DR. And what do you know.. They had a sailing on December 2, 2017… which means we would be on a cruise for Cullen’s birthday. What a perfect birthday present! :D Plus, we get to go back to St. Thomas .. 1 month before our 1 year anniversary!

What we are looking forward to?

We are REALLY excited about this one!! We haven’t been on a Carnival cruise since 2013.. Shocking, I know! But we have been hearing wonderful things about the Magic!

We are obviously looking forward to visiting Amber Cove because that is the reason why we booked.

We have a large balcony cabin in the aft. Our bed will face out towards the water! (Category 8B)

AND! Since it will be the first of December, the ship should be decorated with beautiful Christmas and Holiday Decor! How MAGICal!!! :)
