Why did we book?

Well… If you are just joining us for the first time, you may or may not know that we got married in St. Thomas while cruising on the Norwegian Escape back in January 2017. (We have plenty more information from that trip in our YouTube vlogs). Anyways, we had just gotten back from our trip, not quite as relaxed as we had hoped to be.. and had a scheduled ship inspection on the Carnival Pride. During our presentation, we were shown the port of Amber Cove, and Cullen said, "Lets go there!!” So, the minute we got home, Alyssa started researching Carnival cruises that stopped in Amber Cove, DR. And what do you know.. They had a sailing on December 2, 2017… which means we would be on a cruise for Cullen’s birthday. What a perfect birthday present! :D Plus, we get to go back to St. Thomas .. 1 month before our 1 year anniversary!

What we are looking forward to?

We are REALLY excited about this one!! We haven’t been on a Carnival cruise since 2013.. Shocking, I know! But we have been hearing wonderful things about the Magic!

We are obviously looking forward to visiting Amber Cove because that is the reason why we booked.

We have a large balcony cabin in the aft. Our bed will face out towards the water! (Category 8B)

AND! Since it will be the first of December, the ship should be decorated with beautiful Christmas and Holiday Decor! How MAGICal!!! :)

Why did we book?

We booked this cruise for a few reasons:

1. We still had 8 months until our next cruise, and we didn’t want to wait that long.. ;)

2. We wanted to experience an nice little weekend getaway to the Bahamas.

3. We LOVE Royal Caribbean!

What we are looking forward to?

Since the Majesty of the Seas is one of RC’s oldest ships, we are interested in seeing how different it is from the larger class ships they have. We didn’t really get to have a real “honeymoon,” so this will be a great opportunity for us to unplug and spend some quality time with each other. Also, the food. If you have ever been on a Royal Caribbean cruise, you will understand!
